Does it preserve formatting from the PDF?

ShiftPx extracts text content from each page. Basic text formatting is preserved, but complex layouts (tables, columns, images) may need manual adjustment in Word. For tables, use our PDF to Excel tool instead.

Can I convert scanned PDFs to Word?

ShiftPx works best with text-based PDFs. Scanned PDFs (images of text) require OCR technology, which is not currently supported. The tool will extract any embedded text layer if available.
